British ventriloquist Paul Zerdin was announced the winner of the "America's Got Talent" Season 10 finale on Wednesday night.

Viewers of the show, as well as the judges, fell in love with his act that includes three puppets: a sassy preteen Sam, pensioner Albert, and Baby.

In the video clip, Zerdin and stuttering stand-up comedian Drew Lynch stood on stage with host Nick Cannon for the official announcement who viewers voted champion of "AGT" Season 10. Zerdin was overjoyed when his name was called. Lynch congratulated him and took second place.

Zerdin beat out 10 other talent acts to claim the win, which includes $1 million and headlining the "America's Got Talent Live!" show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, Oct. 22-24.

In a Vine posted on the "AGT" Twitter account, he said, "I can't believe it. It's the most amazing feeling and I thank everyone so much for voting for me."

After his victory "America's Got Talent" judge Howard Stern praised his performance.

"There's a reason Paul breezed through every single time he came on, because he is a master at what he does," Stern said. "He's taking the art of ventriloquism to new heights."

Zerdin previously hosted "Rise and Shine" for GMTV. He has also appeared on Britain's Royal Variety Performance and is a former children's television presenter in the U.K., according to the Mirror.

He was inspired to master the art of ventriloquism as a 10-year-old when a family friend made him a puppet theatre, which he used to put on shows for friends and family, according to his website.

"The real turning point was when I was given a book on ventriloquism by the legendary Ray Alan," he wrote on his website. "By the time I hit my teens I was spending half an hour a day in front of the mirror practicing talking without moving my lips."
