The actress has admittedly gained a few pounds but is not bothered by the numbers on the weighing scale at all.

"My girlfriend sent me this pic, and I could clearly see the weight I've gained which is about...8-10 pounds," the Hawthorne actress posted on Facebook, along with a photo.

Jada Pinkett-Smith is seen wearing a tight fitting leather ensemble in the photo, which Us Weekly notes was taken at the UFC 170 event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The actress posed for the camera together with her daughter, Willow Smith and dear husband, Will Smith.

And though Jada confirms she has gained a bit of weight, she remarks that it is nothing to be displeased about. "I think I will keep it. I like being a lil...fuller;) Let's just hope it will fit in The Oscars dress. Here's to loving our bodies by our own standards:)" she added.

Jada is undeniably loving her much fuller figure but there's no mention of Will's reaction to the weight gain. More than her husband's reaction, it is also not clear how Jada's weight gain will affect her new villain role in the upcoming Fox series, Gotham.

The actress announced her new role on Facebook and was welcomed with delight by thousands of fans.

"Last night, I decided to accept the role of Fish Mooney, who is the sadistic villain in thee upcoming Batman prequel, Gotham, for Fox TV. I've committed to a year to work alongside a very talented cast, a super cool, creative and talented head writer and an extraordinary director. This one...is going to be funnnnnn!" she posted.

The Fox TV series also stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean and Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock.
