Rapper Waka Flocka Flame says he is not homophobic after receiving backlash for bashing transgender celebrity Caitlyn Jenner.

The "No Hands" rapper took to Twitter on Friday to defend the comments he made about Jenner where he called her by her former name "Bruce."

"So now I'm #Homophobic because I don't agree with #CatlinJenner Smh," Waka tweeted after receiving backlash for voicing his opinion about the Transgender community.

"I have nothing against transgender people. I simply feel we need to be careful what our children see as 'sensationalized,'" he said. "Children's brains are a constant development to adulthood. And they pay attention to everything whether we want to accept it or not. I'm a father now so I look at life a lot differently."

In his interview with "The Breakfast Club" Friday morning, the rapper called the media "really evil" for broadcasting transgender people and young girls.

"Women are afraid to be a wife and young males are afraid to be men," he said. "They don't market families and husbands and wives no more. They're marketing young girls, transgenders, like, they're marketing evil, man."

The supposed 2016 presidential candidate went on to include Jenner in his explanation saying that she has "rebuked God" for transitioning into a woman.

"I ain't saying nothing against Bruce Jenner," Waka said. "You are who you are when God made you, not who you became after he did. That's how I just feel. You're rebuking God, man."

Waka also said that the devil was playing tricks on Jenner's mind when she was battling with gender identity issues in the past.

"That's a test from God. If you can't out beat that one task, you believe that, then you'll believe everything else and you're going down that way," Waka said.

While Jenner has people who do not agree with her decision, there are several celebrities who support her including the Kardashian-Jenner clan and actress Anne Hathaway.
