Enrique Iglesias has been announced as one of the performers for the Formula One After Race Concerts taking place on the weekend of Nov. 27-29 in Abu Dhabi.

The 40-year-old Spanish singer is set to perform at the second of four Grand Prix after-race concerts on Friday, Nov. 27, according to The National. Each concert will be held at the capital's Du Arena.

Before Iglesias' performance, Thursday, Sept. 26 will welcome a host of Arabic artists including Algeria's Cheb Khaled, Lebanon's Fares Karam and producer DJ Said Mrad, and Emirati singer Aryam.

This will be Iglesias' first time back to the United Arab Emirates since his 2012 performance at the Dubai World Trade Center, when the singer shared several of his hit songs such as "Bailamos," "Be With You" and "Dirty Dancer," with an almost sold-out crowd.

Promoters Flash Entertainment will be announcing the headliners set to take the stage on Saturday, Nov. 28 during a press conference on Monday, Sept. 28.

As previously reported, British rockers Blur are most likely to perform on Sunday, Nov. 29, claim sources close to the band.

Iglesias is currently on is 12th concert trek promoting his 10th album "Sex and Love," which he released on March 18, 2014. Singles produced from the album include "Finally Found You," "Turn the Night Up," "Heart Attack," "I'm a Freak" and "Beautiful," among others. The Spanish language tracks "Loco," "El Perdedor" and "Bailando" all reached the top of the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. Several guests offered up their vocals to the album, including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Descemer Bueno, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Romeo Santos, Marco Antonio Solis, Yandel, Gente de Zona, Luan Santana and India Martinez. 

Some anticipate that Russian tennis star Anna Kournikova, longtime girlfriend of Iglesias, may make an appearance with the singer at the Abu Dhabi Formula One this year, although it has yet to be confirmed.
