Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively is one of Hollywood's most discreet couple when it comes to keeping their marriage and family private. But lately, an intrusion on that carefully guarded privacy has been apparently invaded when a close friend of Reynolds attempted to sell pictures of the couple's baby.

According to Huffington Post, Reynolds felt betrayed and acknowledged that the kind of hurt it inflicted to him and his family has been a different and profound kind of disappointment. The thing that really made the situation worse is that the person who betrayed him has been a close friend of Reynolds for 25 years.

In his interview with GQ, he said "A guy that I'd known my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around. I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks."

Reynolds even compared the situation and feeling as having death in the family. The fact that his friend did it for money has been something that's very devastating. According to him, there isn't much to say except that the friend was caught and that's the start of an ending friendship.

If Reynolds' friend didn't think he'd ever be caught, he was wrong, and if he was doing it for some easy money, Reynolds said, "Yeah, just for money. I mean I don't think he thought he would ever be caught, but it's pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to. They're just like my closest family and my closest friends." Apparently, Reynolds knew who in his circle were handed the pictures that were allegedly sold.

According to Yahoo Celebrity, Reynolds had a "worded conversation" with his friend, but it only ended with apologies and that was it. Reynolds didn't think he'd ever talk to his former friend again because of the said incident.

Despite what happened, Reynolds has some hefty funny information about fatherhood and that's all that matters now. According to him, he also doesn't take any advice from other parents as he personally believes that nothing can actually prepare someone for fatherhood. When asked about how much does he appreciate his parents now, he basically put it in a few words, saying, "I can't believe that another person did all these things for me."
