Joaquín Ferreira, the Argentinian actor from "Club de Cuervos," made headlines when he stripped for a scene in the Netflix series, and in a recent interview he revealed why he did it.

While speaking to news website Infobae, Ferreira explained that he felt a lot of responsibility when he was told he got the part of Potro because 50 different countries would be watching and spilled the beans on what it was like to film his now famous full-frontal scene on the Netflix series.

"To be an actor means to be able to undress without a problem," he explained. "My body is a tool for work and I had no shame in doing it."

The actor revealed that he wasn't paid more for the daring scene and that he found out about having to do it on the same day they were going to film it.

"Nobody gave me details beforehand," Ferreira said. "When we finished filming I called my mother to let her know."

The show's producer, Luis Gerardo Méndez, told E! Online that he knew from the moment he met Ferreira that he was perfect for the role.

"I was sure that his character had to be a sex symbol that would keep all the women and gay men stuck on the television screen and when he entered the room I knew," Méndez said.

While Ferreira may seem like a natural in front of the camera he didn't always see himself acting and modeling. The actor revealed before he started acting he had several other jobs that weren't as glamorous, such as a gardener and a fire extinguisher salesman, and he studied four different careers in college.

According to the star, he discovered acting when he took some time off in Mexico because nothing he was doing in his life had yet satisfied him.

Season 1 of "Club de Cuervos" is available on Netflix.
