We are one day away from the Season 2 premiere of 'How To Get Away With Murder' and there is one question that is on everyone's mind: Who killed Rebecca Sutter?

During last season's finale, Rebecca Sutter (played by Katie Findlay) was being held hostage before her death. They made it look like Rebecca escaped but someone in Annalise Keating's house killed her, leaving fans wondering who is the culprit?

Viewers do not have to wait long for the answer as the first episode of the new season will reveal Rebecca's killer.

According to TV Guide, showrunner Pete Nowalk originally had no plans to kill off Rebecca. When asked why he wanted to reveal Rebecca's killer in the season premiere, he said, "I just wanted to know and I wanted to move forward this new story."

"I guess it partly surprises me when people say it's gonna be the murder mystery for this season. For me, there's not enough there. People want to know and I like to turn the way we tell stories on their head. I think we found a way to reveal Rebecca's killer, which also starts a new mystery," he added.

So far, Nowalk haven't heard any correct guesses on who is the killer but hopes fans can find the reveal both shocking and intriguing.

"How To Get Away with Murder" became a smash hit last season as the series premiere averaged over 14 million viewers. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Season 1 had an 86 percent rating. Viola Davis, who plays Annalise Keating on the show, recently made history, becoming the first African-American woman to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series at the Emmy Awards.
