John Cena to Go on Hiatus?

WWE U.S. champion John Cena is having one of the best years of his career in terms of in-ring entertainment with his U.S. Open Challenges being the highlight of Monday Night Raw most of the year. He recently regained his U.S. Title from Seth Rollins at Night of Champions, but according to Wrestling Inc, the 15-time WWE World Champion is about to take a short hiatus after the Hell in a Cell event.

Cena's name was removed from all WWE televised events and live shows until Dec. 30. The report also said that WWE already has their schedule released for November and Cena is not advertised for any shows in that month.

The company will also be doing their European tour after Hell in a Cell with the "Cenation" leader previously advertised. His name was also removed from the tour and it seems like he will take time-off for the rest of the year.

According to F4WOnline, the 38-year-old cites "personal reasons" to why he is taking some time off. There are no reports if has any injuries that needs recovery but at his age and years of banging bodies, a little time off would help him replenish his energy.

The Examiner listed his injury history, which included a bunch of career-ending ones. In October 2007, he suffered a complete pectoral tendon tear six days before he was set to defend the WWE Championship against Randy Orton at the No Mercy PPV, ending one of the longest reigns in WWE history. In 2008, Cena suffered a herniated disc in his neck after taking a powerbomb from Batista.

Other injuries he suffered are a hip flexor in 2010, and a busted up elbow in 2012. According to WWE.com, Cena also suffered a broken nose from a Seth Rollins knee strike.

As for his next feud, Dolph Ziggler seems to be the next candidate, per Bleacher ReportIn the season 4 finale of "Total Divas," Ziggler tried to kiss his ex-girlfriend Nikki Bella, who is currently dating Cena. WWE likes to incorporate their storylines to those of "Total Divas" so this could possibly be his next feud.
