An influx of new downloadable content has made its way to Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS.

This includes, but isn't limited to a number of new stages and costumes for Miis. The two stages that were added are a Pirate Ship stage reminiscent of the Toon Link stage from "Brawl," and a "Super Mario Maker" stage. This stage features a random generated Mario stage where blocks are redrawn by a Mario Maker hand. Both are now available.

The Pirate Ship stage is only available for the Wii U. But Nintendo has recently made the exclusive Duck Hunt level available for 3DS. This stage is takes the classic pixelated background and allows players to influence their environment.

The Mii Fighter costumes include a business suit, Star Fox, Captain Falcon, Toad, Viridi from "Kid Icarus: Uprising," and Monster Hunter costumes. On both consoles, each costume is available for individual sale or as a bundle. The business suit currently supports all Mii fighters, the Toad outfit and Captain Falcon outfit are for brawlers, the Star Fox outfit is for gunners, and the Viridi and Monster Hunter costumes are for swordfighters.

The Pirate Ship level is currently priced at $2 while the "Super Mario Maker" level is priced at $2.50. Players can purchase both the Wii U and 3DS versions for $3.50.

Mii Fighter costumes come in at $.75 each, but the bundle is priced at $5.25 on each console, or $8.05 for both editions. The full bundle that includes the recently released costumes and the stages will cost players $7.75 or $13.53 for both platforms.

Some of the previous DLC's for Super Smash Bros. included Ryu from Street Fighter and his stage, Roy from Fire Emblem, and Lucas from Earthbound.
