British boxing star Amir Khan wants to have a rematch against former tormentor Danny Garcia in December.

The Bolton native would not want to waste time to avenge his fourth-round knockout loss at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in July 2012, per BoxRec, as he has other bouts in mind, Yahoo! Sports reported.

"If we're able to make it happen so that I get a rematch with Danny Garcia in December, Manny Pacquiao in May and then Kell Brook late next year in Wembley, that would be absolutely amazing," Khan said.

Although Khan admitted that securing a fight with the eight-time division world champion Manny Pacquiao is his top priority at the moment, it does not hurt for him to plan another explosive fight before that big event. Aside from that, the World Boxing Council Silver welterweight titleholder also has the genuine desire to redeem himself of that stoppage defeat he suffered in the hands of the Pennsylvania-born boxer.

"I'd like to have the rematch...I've been asking for that fight ever since I lost the first time against Danny and I never really got the chance to make it happen, but now I'm hopeful that I'll get the chance to settle the score," Khan said.

"King Khan" also feels that their next showdown will be a treat to their fans as it will be an "exciting fight" for them to witness. Thus, for him, it is a win-win situation because he get to serve what his followers want to see in a boxing fight, and he has the chance to settle his "unfinished business" with Garcia.

The U.K.-born fighter thinks he now has the edge over Garcia as he has learned a lot from his mistakes, unlike Garcia, whom he describes as someone who "hasn't really moved forward" since his victory against Lucas Matthysse two years ago.

Garcia, on the other hand, is also ready to face the British boxer anytime for a Garcia vs. Khan 2, as he feels confident that he will dominate him again in their second showdown if it pushes through.

"I came to this [welterweight] division to fight the best and if that's what they want we can make it happen. We can do the rematch whenever he [Khan] wants but it's always going to be in the back of his head though, when he left these badboys," the 27-year-old boxer told Daily Mail while showing his fists.

Thus, Khan's schedule until the end of next year could be very action-packed for his fans to anticipate.
