The second season of ABC's hit show "How to Get Away with Murder" is picking up steam as it heads into its fourth episode on Thursday, when professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) faces the tricky case of a teenager accused of murdering her best friend.

The latest installment, titled "Skanks Get Shanked," kicks off with the high-profile defense attorney and Middleton University instructor meeting her new client and learning about the mysterious death of Rachel, the network revealed.

"When a teenager is found murdered in the woods, Annalise and her team is hired to represent an unlikely suspect named in the case," ABC detailed in its official synopsis. "Meanwhile, Asher comes across a shocking confession, and Wes learns new information about Rebecca's disappearance."

The episode will also shed some light on Nate Lahey's (Billy Brown) involvement in Keating's shooting and attempted murder, Realty Today promised.

Viewers already know that Rebecca's (Katie Findlay) killer is Bonnie (Liza Weil), Wes (Alfred Enoch) is working with Nate to find out what happened to Rebecca, and Annalise has been shot, iDigitalTimes summarized.

Meanwhile, the show's third installment introduced Levi (Matt Cohen), Rebecca's foster brother, as Michaela's (Aja Naomi King) new love interest. Wes and Levi agree to work together to learn the truth about what happened to Rebecca under the condition that Levi stop seeing Michaela. But Levi has no intention of keeping his side of the deal, the online magazine revealed.

"How to Get Away with Murder," which first premiered on ABC on Sept. 25, 2014, has been a success with both viewers and critics, earning Davis accolades ranging from a Screen Actors Guild Award to a historic Primetime Emmy Award.
