For days now, the online community has been buzzing about a morbid theory that the "Mother" in the series, "How I Met your Mother", is already dead or will die in the last episode. Fortunately, Cristin Milioti, the actress who plays the "Mother" in the show, has come forward to settle this issue.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Milioti opened up about the fate of her character on "HIMYM". When asked about the rampant rumors surrounding her character, she answered, "That's insane...There are so many conspiracy theories which really makes me love the fans more...that is so crazy."

She also described the vision of the show's creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, for the finale as "beautiful".

"They've had this vision for nine years," she said, "And it's in great hands. They know exactly what they want to do."

The actress then reassured the fans by saying that there were no alternate scripts or endings written or done for the last episode, which means that what we'll see on March 31 will be the ultimate resolution for the show.

The theory that her character will die came to life after scenes from previous episodes of the show suggested that something grim will happen in the future.

For instance, in Episode 19 of the last season, after Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) told the story of Robin seeing her mother before her wedding, Milioti's character said, "What sort of mother is going to miss her daughter's wedding?" Immediately, Ted started to cry. Fans speculated that this could mean that the "Mother" will die and miss her daughter's wedding.

Another clue that led viewers to believe that a funeral will be held during the series finale is a photo of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) not wearing a suit during the filming of the last episode. Followers of the "Bro Code" know that he doesn't wear suits at funerals because suits are supposed to express happiness.
