Jay-Z and Daft Punk have previously collaborated on an unreleased track titled "Computerized," which has recently surfaced online.

A fan site of the French electronic duo initially uploaded the anticipated track, which serves as a conscious warning about people depending too much on technology today. It is believed to been made during the lengthy session for last year's Daft Punk album, Random Access Memories.

The Brooklyn rapper opens the track by lamenting about how people have become so impersonal nowadays, communicating over text messages and having a "broken heart on the email": "She says I'm cold. The only time I'm comfortable kissing is sending x and o." Meanwhile, Daft Punk sings throughout the chorus, "Everyone will be computerized."

"Computerized" was recorded several years ago, as the song was originally intended for the soundtrack of 2010's Tron: Legacy. The introduction uses a sample that Daft Punk would later use on the soundtrack to the Disney movie, but it never made the final cut of the film.

The track was made some time ago, as it is also evident in Jay-Z's rapping: "Start macking on my BlackBerry. She got jealous / I was tapping on my BlackBerry." The Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper makes a reference to BlackBerry -- the lyrics would not have been included if the song was recorded after he signed his deal with Samsung last year.

In addition, Kanye West was rumored to have produced the track, however it was later confirmed that the Chicago rapper was not involved.
