After a long hiatus from the spotlight and an even longer hiatus from his late night comedy show, comedian Tracy Morgan made his return to "Saturday Night Live" last night in good form.

Morgan's tragic car accident last year left a lot of his fans worried if he'd ever return to television, or in his same person, however it's safe to say that all those notions were put to rest during his opening monologue as he brought all his old co-stars from "30 Rock" on stage for a mini reunion.

"People were wondering: Can he speak? Does he have 100 percent mental capacity?" Morgan told the audience. "But the truth is, I never did. I might actually be a few points higher now."

Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer all joined Morgan for a short bit spun from a 2012 episode of the show.

"As you can see, everything is going to be just fine," he continued. "I've got my family here, my cast, my crew, and I've got my Obi-Wan Kenobi, [SNL creator] Lorne Michaels. So let's be funny."

Morgan's opening speech wasn't the only treat he had for the viewers last night, as the comedian took part in three different sketches in which he reprised some of his reoccurring characters from the show.

Longtime fans will recognize Brian Fellow, an unaccredited zoologist with a rich enthusiasm for the world's wildlife. In this sketch he interviews both a beaver and a camel while seemingly having no prior knowledge on the animals.

On the Weekend Update sketch, Morgan played a homeless man who was first seen during a 1999 episode with Britney Spears.

Fans were also lucky enough to see the veteran cast member reprise his role as Astronaut Jones with a special appearance from musical guest Demi Lovato.
