Xiaomi wants to be in more households. The company is mostly known for building affordable Android smartphones, but now they are creating TVs and scooters too.

Xiaomi announced two new products Monday, a 60-inch smart TV and a self-balancing scooter. The 60-inch smart TV will cost just $800 and the scooter will cost about $315

The smart TV is Xiaomi's plan to show how cheap a big-screened TV can be, while still being a quality set, CNet reports. The company's CEO Lei Jun said that most TV's that are 60 inches in size and have a 4K display cost at least twice the price that Xiaomi is selling it for.

The 60-inch TV is called the MiTV and it will have a unique detachable speaker. This speaker actually has the motherboard and processor inside of it and it hooks up to the TV set with one cord. All of the TV's ports are found on this separate speaker.

When it comes time to upgrade the MiTV, owners will not have to buy a whole new TV set. The detachable speaker can be purchased separately for about $155.

Xiaomi also introduced a self-balancing scooter, similar to the Segway. The Segway brand was purchased by Xiaomi's Ninebot back in 2014.

The scooter will be called the Ninebot mini. It will detect movement's in owner's legs to steer them on a path. It will weigh just 12.8 kilograms and will be able to go speeds up to 16 km/hour (about 10 mph), according to Tech Crunch.

Xiaomi has been an extremely popular company in China with its smartphones, even passing Apple in sales recently. Most of Xiaomi's devices are not yet available in the U.S., but its smartwatches and headphones are. It is only a matter of time before Xiaomi makes a big push to get their affordable electronics into the United States.
