Parts of Xbox Live have gone offline for some users at the most inopportune time possibly. Hot off the heels of the launch of the biggest game of the year, Titanfall, for Xbox One (and later Xbox 360) the online servers that host the massive multiplayer game went kaput. Other Xbox Live services were, and still are for some, offline. The two other areas affected are Netflix video streaming and the Xbox Store. The Xbox 360 and the Xbox YouTube app are also acting up.

If you're a fan of Xbox Live your probably scratching your head and saying "what the heck" right about now. The Xbox online gaming marketplace and arena so to speak is, for the most part, known for its reliability and stability. There could turn out to be a silver lining for Microsoft after all, though! Maybe Titanfall and Titanfall alone caused the crash due to massive sales?

Now Microsoft is undoubtably embarrassed about this and to their credit they have figured out a way to get you back up online fast. After all, a day without battling giant Mechs and futuristic super soldiers is a day wasted, my friend.

"Microsoft is investigating an issue that may interrupt customer access to some Microsoft online services. This is unrelated to the launch of Titanfall and the Xbox Live service is up and running," said a Microsoft spokesperson when asked by GamesBeat. "The issue on Xbox is resolved, but unfortunately a small percentage of Xbox One owners may still experience a sign-in issue on Xbox Live, which can be fixed with a cold reboot of the Xbox One by powering down, unplugging, waiting 10 seconds, plugging back in, and powering back on."

So what will Microsoft do to appease angered fans? Will they offer some type of online credit or a free Titanfall downloadable content package? Just saying "Bro, I'm sorry" isn't good enough for the vast majority of users. After all, the Xbox One cost's $500 and for those unlucky enough to buy the Titanfall bundle had to shell out another $60 for the game itself.
