Charlotte Hornets' Nicolas Batum is parting with his Oregon home as he unloads it on the market.

Batum, who formerly played for the Portland Trail Blazers for seven years, per ESPN stats, is selling his Lake Oswego property for $2.5 million, Realtor.com announced.

The Oregon abode he stayed in while a member of the Trail Blazers is described by the listing on Realtor.com as an "architecturally modern Skylands neighborhood home" that offers amazing views of the surrounding city, mountains and the Willamette river from nearly every room in the house.

The residence covers 6,850 square feet of living space, including five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The contemporary home resting on one and a half acres of land also showcases a four-car garage, media room, personal gym, dining area, home theater, deck and patio.

There is also a modern kitchen equipped with appliances like a built-in range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, grill, and double oven. The cooking area also has a center island, pantry and granite finishing.

Interior details highlighted in the home are high ceilings, picture windows, chic furnishing, sleek forms and lines, pristine and immaculate ambiance courtesy of predominantly white motif and an airy ambiance.

Outdoors, a swimming pool with a spa, a pool house, a barbecue station and a kitchen complete the grounds.

Starting Over in Charlotte

Although Batum only played for Portland until 2015, he was actually drafted by the Huston Rockets in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft, noted ESPN stats.

Now, after seven years, the France-born basketball player moved again to another team via a trade in June, ESPN announced. The Hornets reportedly sent guard Gerald Henderson and power forward Noah Vonleh to the Trail Blazers for Batum.

Hornets' general manager Rich Cho believes that acquiring the 26-year-old player will help the team improve their shooting. He trusts that Batum will aid the Charlotte team in this specific aspect.

"He provides a 3-point shooting threat and he's good versatile defender who can guard multiple positions. He has been in the league for seven years, so he gives us experience. But yet he is still in his prime. He is going to be a great addition to this team," Cho said.

ESPN noted that despite a persistent wrist injury, Batum was able to deliver averages of 9.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists last season with Portland. Batum tallied his record of 14.4 points average in the 2012-2013 season while delivering 5.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, per ESPN stats.
