Lana Del Rey recently opened up about her personal fear of death and occasional panic attacks.

The 30-year-old singer revealed she's always been prone to anxiety, especially when it comes to the subject of death, in a new interview with Bruce Wagner for Billboard.

"It's hard for me sometimes to think about going on when I know we're going to die," Del Rey said.

As early as age four, she experienced these feelings after she saw a show on TV in which someone was killed.

Dely Rey recalled, "I turned to my parents and said, 'Are we all going to die?' They said 'Yes,' and I was totally distraught! I broke down in tears and said, 'We have to move!'"

In trying to cope with the issue of her panic attacks, Del Rey went to see a therapist, but she later realized that working on music was also therapeutic for her.

"I'm really most comfortable sitting in that chair in the studio, writing or singing," Del Rey added.

Wagner asked her the singer if she was planning to promote her new LP, "Honeymoon," by touring on the road. Del Rey pointed out that she already had.

"I do everything backwards," Del Rey said. "It already happened -- I'm actually done with the world tour I started four years ago, when I needed to be out there. I really needed to be out there singing."

Del Rey released her follow-up to 2014's "Ultraviolence" and fourth studio album, "Honeymoon," on Sept. 18, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album so far has produced the two singles "High by the Beach" and "Music to Watch Boys to."

Del Rey released her second studio album, "Born to Die," in January 2012 and her self-titled debut album was released in January 2010.
