"Pretty Little Liars" is all new in 2016, when showrunners will make a five-year time jump into the future to catch up with the Liars.

In the new setting, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen) are still together. Showrunner Marlene King posted a behind-the-scenes photo to Instagram on Thursday featuring Allen and Bellisario working together.

"[Throwback Thursday] to a scene we shot for 6B," King captioned the post.

"[Spencer's] still getting her feet wet in the political world," Bellisario told TVLine of Spencer in the next "PLL" installment. "She's ready to make a run for a real, solid career."

It is not clear exactly what the couple is up to in Season 6B, but King did say, "There's a fun 'Spoby' scene in the season premiere."

After the five-year time jump, Spencer is living in Washington D.C. She has finished her education at Oxford and Georgetown, when she returns to Rosewood for Charlotte's hearing. Will she open new doors to horror when she heads back to town? Will "A" resurface?

There are just so many questions ahead of the next season. Do the girls have some unfinished business that viewers don't know about yet?

And who is the doctor that Alison (Sasha Pieterse) married? Did Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) stay together as well, or is she with someone new?

Actress Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, teased that the season will be "jaw-dropping" when it returns in January 2016, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"Emison fans -- I think they're going to have fun this next season seeing what me and Sasha are getting up to and what our characters are doing," Mitchell teased. "I think they're going to be happy with it."
