"Bates Motel" is returning to A&E for a fourth season where Norman (Freddie Highmore) will completely lose his mind when his mother Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) passes away.

Norman's mental health will be in great danger when his mother dies. It is not clear how she will die, but there is a possibility that he will kill his own mother and not know that it was actually him.

In Season 3, Norma finally opened up about her son's mental health. She decided to get him some help but the mental health facility was just too expensive. Will Norma raise the money for Norman's treatment at Pine View Sanatorium in Season 4?

He felt betrayed that his mother would even send him to an institution. When she brought the idea up to him he asked, "So you're giving up on me, Mother?"

Before the season was up, Norman kicked his mother down the stairs and accused her of killing his father. He also admitted that he wants to sleep with his mother. Although Norma convinced her son that his thoughts are normal, she secretly knows that his condition is worsening.

Meanwhile, Norman's older brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) and ex-girlfriend Emma (Olivia Cooke) are expected to continue a romantic relationship.

In the last season, Dylan went with his father Caleb (Kenny Johnson) on a dangerous trip to transport guns. He risked his life for that money so that Emma can get her name push to the top of the list for a lung transplant.

Dylan made Emma's dad promise that he will never tell her where the money really came from. What will she do when she finds out the truth?

Before she went into surgery, Dylan kissed her and let her know how he feels about her. When their relationship gets out to Norman, will this be one of the things that makes him flip out?

"Bates Motel" returns to A&E in the spring for you to find out. In the meantime, check out this video posted to Facebook of Norma throughout the series below.
