"Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson launched a new plus-size fashion line at the pavilion of MILK on Friday in collaboration with the fastest growing plus-size fashion brand.

"I love this collection so much and am so excited to be sharing it with everyone tonight!" Rebel said at the launching event. "We put a lot of time and effort into it. Torrid's designers are really passionate and knowledgeable about what they do."

The new line, Rebel for Torrid, will be sold exclusively in Torrid stores in the U.S. and Canada and online at Torrid.com.

"What a night. It's such a great way to salute Rebel and celebrate our partnership," Torrid CEO Lisa Harper said at the event. "The results speak for themselves. We couldn't be happier."

"I'm so excited to be part of this launch," Georgina Burke said. "As a fellow Aussie I'm a huge fan of Rebel. The 'gangsta koala' tee? Love." The top model attended the event along with Brit Philomena Kwao.

"Rebel truly is the perfect match for Torrid," Philomena said. "She proves that women of all shapes and sizes can be fiercely talented and have the fashion sense to match."

Wilson announced plans for her first fashion line back in May in order to make "plus size fashion relevant and dope."

"I just was always the kind of person who cared what was on the inside. I'm a person who uses my brain; it's not really about my personal aesthetic," Wilson tells PEOPLE. "But then I realized that if girls can see me standing next to really skinny actresses holding my own and being really confident in how I look, then that's a good message to send."

Rebel for Torrid is a limited-edition collection that features about 25 pieces ranging from $22.50 to $98.50. There is talk about a spring 2016 collection in the works as well.
