This week's PS4 game release touts two new definitive edition titles and a next-gen wrestling simulator.

"Divinity: Original Sin" may not be the top PC game of 2014, but it did make a surprisingly big splash last year. Now, PS4 gamers can have a shot at the highly addictive fantasy RPG by Larian Studios.

"Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition" carries more than just visual improvements. This time, there are new quests and combat encounters and all character dialogue are now fully voiced. Other improvements from the game's PC version are the new controller-friendly user interface and support for split-screen display for local co-op mode.

"It has a truckload of changes versus the original game. Literally thousands of little improvements here and there," Larian Studios boss Swen Vincke told Polygon.

The game's biggest change for PS4 is that it will have a new ending.

"We changed that completely," said Vincke. "It's really much cooler and feels more complete in a way. We want there to be a strong sense of satisfaction when you finish the game, even if only a small percentage of players will actually get there given how long the game is."

From magic to the macabre, "Darksiders 2: Deathinitve Edition" lets PS4 gamers take on the role of Death, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as he embarks on a retributive quest to resurrect humanity.

According to IGN, the remastered hack-and-slash action RPG by Gunfire Games is available for $30 in both digital and retail outlets.

"It's rare that as developers we get the opportunity to revisit one of our previous games. The passage of time and the numerous games we've worked on since Darksiders II shipped has allowed us to return to it with a fresh perspective," the game's design director John Pearl said.

Those who prefer a different kind of excitement will be treated to electrifying crowds, high-wire stunts and blockbuster matches in "WWE 2K16."

This year's version boasts of improved in-game mechanics and better customization options. Its roster has also received a much-needed beef up.

Independent UK pointed out that "WWE 2K16" has over 125 wrestlers, almost double last year's 67 headcount. The larger number is mostly due to the game's inclusion of more legendary wrestlers and up-and-coming NXT combatants.

Some of the biggest names PS4 gamers can play in WWE 2K16 are as follows:

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin
  • Seth Rollins
  • Triple H
  • Brock Lesnar
  • Kevin Owens
  • Ric Flair
  • Sting
  • Roman Reigns
  • Ultimate Warrior

Those who have pre-ordered the game can also play two versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger. One as the iconic T-800 from "Terminator" and the other from "Terminator 2."
