WWE 2K16, the latest wrestling simulator for developer 2K Sports, will come out Tuesday at midnight. Buyers should prepare for the release by double checking with their local retailers to see exactly when they can purchase it.

According to GottaBeMobile, buyers may be able to attend a midnight release event at their local Gamestop or Best Buy stores. Many of these stores will be open at midnight ET for the sale of Halo 5, which also comes out Tuesday. Gamers should call their stores to make sure they can purchase WWE 2K16 at the Halo 5 event.

Instead of going to a retail store, buyers can also buy the game digitally through their consoles. The game will start downloading right when the purchase is made through Microsoft or Sony. At midnight Tuesday, the game will be available for play.

Purchasing the game online will also result in some deals. If purchased on Amazon, Prime Members save $7. If purchased from Dell, buyers will receive a $15 eGift card towards a future purchase.

A WWE 2K16 season pass will be on sale for $24.99. This season pass offers bonus content for WWE 2K16 including:

  • Accelerator (access to all unlockable content in the game without having to beat anything)
  • Legends Pack
  • 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase
  • New Moves Pack
  • Future Stars Pack

WWE 2K16 will boast over 120 wrestlers, including Divas and some former wrestlers. If players want, they can use the WWE 2K16 companion app to upload images of themselves into the game in order to model wrestlers after themselves.

WWE 2K16 will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. There is no PC or Nintendo Wii U version of the game.
