The possibility of a Flappy Bird comeback on the Apple Store seems to depend on new rules that were implemented after the game's initial disappearance.

Flappy Bird went from a little-known app to the most talked-about app on the market in a short period of time, but as fast as it went up, it came down. After its removal, others tried to capitalize on the hype by creating games with similar names, but Apple wasn't too thrilled. The tech giant apparently addressed this by banning games featuring the word "Flappy." Obviously, if the game returned then the original name would not be allowed, according to the new rules.

The game's creator, Dong Nguyen, was so overwhelmed by everything when the game blew up in popularity that he decided to take it down entirely. Most of the reasons why he decided to remove the game stemmed from the fact that many people were saying that the game ruined their lives and that it was too addictive.

Regardless of whether or not the game makes a comeback, some have pointed to a possible way to get the original game despite the fact that it was taken down. According to Jailbreak Matrix, Flappy Bird can be found in the Cydia store. From there, gamers will apparently find that the version of the game on Cydia features a hack that allows you to cruise through the game without the pipes and obstacles that always leads to a crash. All in all, it is really not too surprising that the game found its way to the iOS 7 Jailbreak considering the wide variety of options provided on Cydia.
