As part of the promotion for the release of "Titanfall", real-life Titans from the game have been unleashed and are currently touring different parts of the world. These towering mechs were the creation of a California-based fabrication company called Daniels Wood Land, Inc.

IGN reported that the Titans fabricated by the company are going around Europe and the United States as of the moment. With the intricate details presented in these models, one could not help but wonder how these impressive mechanized weapons transitioned from the video game to real-life.

The fabrication process was a collaboration between the game's developer and publisher, Respawn and EA, and Daniels Wood Land, Inc. With the help of several other artists, the company's lead artist, Joel Emslie, created the titans using foam and a steel base.

In an interview with Slash Gear, the company's theming designer CJ Berg said, "We received the game artwork for the Titan from Respawn and EA. Using this artwork, it was prepared for milling and fabrication."

He added, "The parts were cut out of EPS foam using our CNC equipment for assembly. We use a large format 4 axis router and a large format CNC hotwire for the cutting. Our steel fabrication department welded up the armature and steel base for the piece. Once we had the pieces and steel ready, we assembled the foam over the steel creating the piece"

Berg mentioned that each piece for the Titans were created and painted separately. It took them four weeks to finish the entire project and only saw the final product after the pieces were put together during the last phase of the process.

The company created two models for Respawn and EA. The first model, "Betty", stands two stories tall. The other one, "Jack" is about half the size of "Betty" and appears to be busting through the ground.
