As if their jobs were not already hard enough on "Blue Bloods," Danny and Baez have to help a rich man, Owen Cairo (Anthony Edwards), get his prize possession back, in the form of a stolen Mustang that was featured in the Steve McQueen movie "Bullitt."

Episode 7, titled "The Bullitt Mustang," will air on broadcast network CBS this Friday, Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

Apparently the show is going to take a break for a while from their flagship serial murders, political scandals and family crises to help a rich guy get back one of his most prize possessions. But what they may not realize when they go into the case is that their could be more to the crime that just some random robbery, according to Spoilers Guide.

If ex-wives have anything to say about it, or at least soon-to-be ex-wives, then the first thing they want from their man is what he loves the most. That may not have been her, so she is going to take what is his. Or at least that will be the running theory. Suffice it to say that Danny and Baez have much better ways to spend their time.

Although a family crisis is not theme for the episode, it doesn't mean that there won't be some rift in the family. Erin is forced to take on an assignment from the new acting District Attorney, which comes in the form of arresting several NYPD officers who are charged with fixing traffic tickets for their friends.

It certainly makes sense though, considering her new boss is wanting to appear tough on crime and corruption when the new election cycle comes around. But this will also put Erin at odds with Frank. Either way, it is a lose-lose situation for her.
