The recent World Gymnastics Championships at the Hydro arena in Glasgow, Scotland had U.S. Gymnast Simone Biles take home gold medals after her spectacular performance last Nov. 1. The famed female gymnast was also recognized as the most titled woman gymnast in history.

Biles is 18 years old and is already holding 10 world titles, including the four she recently won in Glasgow, giving the U.S. a win in each of her competitions. The champion is followed by Russia's Svetlana Khorkina, Romania's Gina Gogean and former Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina, AFP reports.

In all her achievements, Biles remains to be humble and still unbelieving of her accomplishments. "It's an amazing feeling and I don't think it has hit me yet. I can't even wrap my head around it," Biles said of her record as quoted by AFP. "I still don't believe my ability to achieve such things. It's crazy."

"I think I've done a pretty good job at masking it over the years," Biles said as quoted by the Associated Press. The news outlet notes that her win comes after her relentless training and rehearsals.

Apparently, Biles barely had a day-off in her training with National Team coordinator Martha Karolyi, who keeps reminding her team to not stop training, especially with the Olympics coming soon.

It was a "fantastic performance but don't forget how we got here. That should be our motto for this next year leading up to the Olympic Games. Yes, we did a good job at worlds but that doesn't mean anything when it comes down to the Olympics," Karolyi said as quoted by the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, Biles, who had a few struggling moments during rehearsals, finished off almost perfectly, according to AFP. She performed her phenomenal acrobatic floor display including her signature "Biles" double layout with 1/2 turn to edge 0.700, kicking off all her opponents as she won the gold medal yet again.

"I knew it was my last floor routine of the year and I wanted to end with a bang," Biles said of her routine where she seemingly almost fell but apparently had a perfect landing after her last double somersault by a 1.025 margin, AFP reports.

So Biles, who is now on her way to the Olympics, carries four gold medals from her team in all-around, floor and beam including a bronze medal on vault, AP reports. Biles also has the most number of championships by an American woman with 14 world championship medals. She is also the female gymnast with most gold medals at 10.

"I don't think it's sunk in yet," Biles said as quoted by the Associated Press. "But I know what I've achieved and what I've achieved is like, pretty unbelievable."
