The time has finally arrived. Before this week ends, PS4 gamers will be playing the highly anticipated first-person shooting game from Treyarch and the much-deserved racing game reboot from Ghost Games. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be available starting Nov. 6 while "Need for Speed (2015)" will arrive three days earlier.

According to the official PlayStation blog site, the pair will be joined by the following games:

  •  Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers
  •  Arcade Archives Ikki,
  •  Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
  •  Dragon Fin Soup
  •  Evolve Ultimate Edition
  •  Indivisible Prototype Beta
  •  The Jackbox Party Pack
  •  Lords of the Fallen: Complete Edition
  •  Need for Speed
  •  Poncho
  •  Shovel Knight
  •  Snoopy's Grand Adventure

"Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Need for Speed (2015)" and "Snoopy's Grand Adventure" will be available either through retail or via the PlayStation Store.

"Evolve Ultimate Edition," "The Jackbox Party Pack," "Lords of the Fallen: Complete Edition" and "Shovel Knight" can only be purchased in local outlets while PS4 gamers can grab hold of "Arcade Archives Ikki," "Dragon Finn Soup," "Indivisible Prototype Beta" and "Poncho" only as downloadable content.

Like "Dragon Fin Soup" and "The Jackbox Party Pack," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" can also be played on PS3, although the game's older console version won't be as impressive as its current-generation counterpart.

Activision, the game's publisher, indicated on the official "Call of Duty" website that Treyarch, Beenoz and Mercenary Technology simply could not duplicate the game's "next-generation experience" for PS3.

"The Black Ops 3 PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will feature Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay only, not Campaign. The ambitious scope of the 1-4 player coop Campaign design of the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions could not be faithfully recreated on old generation hardware," the Activision's statement read.

Also, PS3 gamers won't be able to access the game's Weapon Paint Shop, which grants PS4 gamers the ability to make detailed customizations to their character's weapons. Certain eSports features will also be missing for PS3.

That being said, "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3" for PS3 only costs $50, which is $10 cheaper than the PS4 version.

In "Need for Speed (2015)," PS4 gamers are immersed in an open-world racing game set in Ventura Bay, which looks strikingly like Los Angeles. Racers take part in intertwining stories while building their dream car as well as their reputations, IGN reported.

The game is a much-needed reboot or the franchise. It includes a nocturnal open-world, high-quality customizations and a new narrative. The game can be played in five ways namely Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw.
