The first wave of Xbox Live Deals with Gold for November 2015 has arrived and can now be picked up from the Xbox Store.

According to the official Xbox website, Xbox Live subscribers on Xbox One can now download "Pneuma: Breath of Life" free of charge while those on Xbox 360 can get "Dirt 3" for the same $0 price tag.

Xbox One owners might also want to grab "Dirt 3" as all subsequent Xbox 360 games With Gold titles will soon be backwards-compatible for Xbox One. The Xbox One update carrying support for backwards compatibility will be distributed starting Nov. 12.

On that note, Xbox One owners can still get "The Walking Dead Season One" since it is still free until Nov. 15. Another free content Xbox One owners can expect this month is "Knight Squad." The medieval action game will be available as an OTA download from Nov. 16 to Dec. 15. On the other hand, Xbox 360 owners can receive "Dungeon Siege" for free from Nov. 16 to Nov. 30.

Microsoft's holiday onslaught of Xbox games is the company's way of offsetting Sony's PS4 price cut for the holiday season. For the record, the Xbox One and PS4 now cost the same: $350.

Xbox product manager Aaron Greenberg is unfazed by Sony's holiday move. He told GameSpot that it's the content and games themselves that boost sales. Microsoft, by far, has the more superior titles coming into the holiday season. Its game lineup includes "Halo 5: Guardians," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" and "Forza Motorsport 6."

"We think we'll continue to be competitive this holiday in our top markets with the offerings that we have," said Greenberg. "We know that games [are] what drive console sales, and we have games and we have the greatest games lineup in the history of our business. So we feel good about putting that out there and letting fans respond based on the type of games we're bringing to the market."

When pressed to comment on Sony's PS4 price cut, Greenberg said that Microsoft is just focused on giving fans the best value for their dollar.

"For us, since frankly since we've been in this business, we've really focused on over-delivering on value. And so I think you saw that with the Xbox 360 generation where we focused on delivering great value for our fans; we continue to do that. We've been pretty aggressive both in pricing and what we're doing with our games lineup and with great choice of bundles."

Sony is now planning to release more PS4-exclusive titles on a global scale while Xbox executive Phil Spencer went on record to say that he doubts the Xbox One's capability to rival the PS4's worldwide earnings, GameRant reported.
