Rihanna and Eminem have crossed paths before, but now the duo is about to take things three steps further after new tour dates were announced in New York, Los Angeles, and Detroit, according to several reports.

Although the two had already announced plans to go on tour together, the dates were not officially announced until this week. The performances in the three cities will take place in stadiums: The Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (right outside New York City), and finally Comercia Park in Detroit. The Los Angeles show will be on Aug. 7, while the New York Metro-area performance is slated for Aug. 16. The last and final show, in Eminem's home area of Detroit, will be on Aug. 22.

Although the two stars are very well known for their individual songs and albums over the years, "The Monster" has helped the two become even more popular as a duo. The song, which was released as a music video just before the new year, in December of 2013, has tallied more than 120 million views thus far.

The upcoming tour is rather short, with only three performances announced, but the popularity of their hit song could mean that these concerts could do very well to help market their collaboration even further. Considering that it will be the tail end of the summertime when the tour takes place, fans will surely be eager to flock into the stadiums for the festivities and fun times.
