The events on "Madam Secretary" are poised to heat up to extreme levels when an American aid worker is killed by an American ISIS member in Syria, which puts Elizabeth McCord on the path of utter vengeance.

Episode 6, titled "Catch and Release," will air on broadcast network CBS this Sunday, Nov. 8 at 8:30 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

Suffice it to say that relations with the terrorist group ISIS are about to get even worse when one of their own members, an American citizen, kills one of Elizabeth's aid workers in Syria.

According to Spoilers Guide, this incident is what will put Elizabeth on a path for quick and swift justice, given that she has had so many foreign policy blunders as of late. But that does not mean that she is going to give up on the mission completely.

Once she learns about the death, she immediately recalls all U.S. aid workers back to safe territory before she starts putting the plans into motion. But she also has one more stick in the fire, which is with her brother Will (Eric Stoltz).

Will is part of the mission to provide aid and relief to Syrians caught up in the bloody civil war and ensuing rise of ISIS. That means that if he is found out to be her brother, he will be the one with the next target on his head. They have already played a political game with her by using an American member to kill one of their own. They are certainly willing to go the extra mile with Will.

Henry McCord also has his hands full with Dmitri as well. He asks for Henry's help when one of his friends, Ivan, has been recalled by Moscow. This could prove to put him in a tricky situation and ultimately expose Dmitri as a spy for the Americans, should he use his power and influence.
