A release date for the Oppo A33 and 53 has yet to be made official and global availability is still unclear. But considering the duo's recent TENAA certification, expect Oppo to make an announcement shortly.

The reports came a few weeks after Oppo officially unveiled the Oppo R7s at the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition in Dubai.

The large-screen handset boasts of high-end specs befitting a flagship smartphone. Firstly, the R7s has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display protected by a 2.5D screen glass, Mobipicker reported.

As Gizmag explained, Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode, better known as AMOLED, enhances some features of the older generation IPS LCD screen. AMOLED separately lights individual pixels on top of a thin film transistor, which means that color schemes are projected better. Light colors are considerably lighter while dark colors are darker.

The 2.5D screen glass not only improves the R7s visually but also ergonomically. The technology lets users slide their fingers at any part of the surface without getting them caught on the raised glass edges from time to time.

Other specs of the R7s include Qualcomm's eight-core Snapdragon 615 chipset with the Adreno 405 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable native storage up to 128GB via micro-SD. There's a camera combo of 13 and eight megapixels as well as a decent 3,070 mAh battery. The Android-based ColorOS 2.1 is pre-installed.

The R7s is expected to release in December, though pricing has yet to be reported.
