When “Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator Larry David shouted out "You're a racist!" at presidential hopeful Donald Trump during his opening "Saturday Night Live" monologue, the veteran comedy writer not only brought back a sense of risk to live television, but fulfilled what the Latino advocacy group Deport Racism had dreamed would happen that night.

After it was announced that the controversial GOP candidate would host the sketch comedy show, DeportRacism.com announced they would give $5,000 to anyone who disrupted the program while Trump was hosting.

The advocacy group said two things needed to happen in order to earn the money: the words “Deport Racism” or “Trump is a Racist” needed to be heard clearly during the "SNL" broadcast, and the speaker needed to be identified in media by name.

Both of those requirements were clearly met by Larry David, who went on to draw attention to the prize money he would receive by saying, "I heard if I yelled that they'd give me $5,000."

Whatever his motivation was, DeportRacism.com has tweeted that the 68-year-old comedian will get the cash. “Joke or not, it's true,” they tweeted.

As previously reported, Trump’s hosting stint on "SNL" lead to protestors holding up “Dump Trump” signs, as well as a very public boycott of the show by Latino entertainer John Leguizamo.

Before Trump’s performance Juan Escalante, the director of digital campaigns for America’s Voice, explained his group’s feelings of frustration and offense over NBC’s decision to let Trump host. Speaking to The Huffington Post, he said, “There’s nothing funny about mass deportation. There’s nothing funny about separating families. There’s nothing funny about calling Mexicans ‘rapists’ and murderers. ... It’s a very poor show of judgment and it’s completely disrespectful to Latinos and viewers across the nation.”

Issues aside, "SNL" critic Mike Ryan called the show a real loser, feeling sorry for the cast members on set that seemed to want nothing to do with the program or with the Trump controversy surrounding it.
