A woman was denied her cash when she hit an $8 million jackpot at a Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester, Washington, last weekend because of a machine malfunction.

The Casino told Veronica Castillo, an Oregon native, that she did not win any money after she put $100 into a slot machine and hit the jackpot.

"They turned the machine off, took it away, printed out the ticket and gave me $80," she told a local CBS affiliate.

Castillo took her mother to the casino over the weekend and was very upset when she found out that she really did not hit the jackpot. Yet, the casino machines have a sticker on the side that says "malfunction voids all pays and plays."

"To me, it's cheating, may even be fraudulent," Castillo said. "My first thought was, How many people has this happened to? They think they won, then going away empty-handed."

According to Casino CEO John Setterstrom, that has never happened to anyone since the casino opened in 1995. Setterstrom says he is working to solve the issue and wants to keep Castillo as a customer. Meanwhile, she is seeking an attorney for the matter.

"I was very excited, happy," Castillo said, regarding the very moment when she hit the jackpot at the casino. "Then I couldn't believe it."

Will Castillo take her case to court and win?
