New York Knicks fans can look forward to some serious fun this upcoming Sunday!

Just outside of Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks will host the first-ever Los Knicks Fan Festival, and Knicks legends Walt Frazier and John Starks will be in attendance, as well as Liberty great Kym Hampton, St. John's wonder Felipe Lopez and NYC legend and author Bobbito Garcia. Each will make themselves available to fans as a part of the Noche Latina Night, the NBA's eighth annual Noche éne•bé•a celebration.

Squaring off with Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden later that day, the New York Knicks will be continuing their multicultural outreach endeavor by welcoming fans to come out and enjoy a chance to meet some of their hardwood heroes, and participate in fun-filled activities such as contests on the Knicks Sport Court, giveaways from Knicks Legends, snapshots at photo booths, designs by face painters, Latin-themed dance lessons and on-site food trucks with Latin-themed cuisine.

Spanish-language radio stations La Mega 97.9 and 93.1 Amor will be on site, broadcasting the event... so all who are unable to attend the fantastic event can share in the happenings. The radio personalities will talk about heritage and culture, and will take a fun account of the mid-day event, which will also feature local Latin artists such as DJ Supreme and Marisol, Hispanic treats, dance sessions and performances.

Los Knicks will be wearing their "Nueva York" jerseys during the game, and will be introduced to the crowd in the language of la raza, Spanish. The national anthem will be performed in Español by Carrissa Peros; the Knicks City Dancers will perform salsa to "Quimbara," an energetic ballad made famous by the legendary Celia Cruz; and DJ Alex Sensation from La Mega 97.9 will be the in-game DJ.

Los Knicks Fan Festival and Noche Latina also encourages fans to tweet photos with the hashtag #LosKnicks for the opportunity to win a limited edition prize. The first 2,000 fans who arrive to Los Knicks Fan Fest this Sunday, 3/23 will receive a FREE Knicks T-Shirt!

Afro-Puerto Rican showstopper Carmelo Anthony and the rest of the Knicks family, including the team's new president Phil Jackson will appreciate fans coming out to enjoy the highly anticipated event. So, show up and have fun!!
