The release of Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain by Hideo Kojima is one of the much-awaited events in the gaming world. There is no final word yet on its release date, as improvements are still ongoing. However, The Arab Gamer reported on March 16 that the voucher that comes with the Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes game may give hints as to Phantom Pain's release date. The voucher allows you to open downloadable contents for the title. Some are eyeing a 2015 release date for Phantom Pain due to leaked information from a financial investor call by Konami.

To appease the gamers' excitement for The Phantom Pain, Kojima released Ground Zeroes, a prequel game to Phantom Pain. Produced by Hideo Kojima and developed by Kojima Productions, the Phantom Pain is an open world action-adventure video game. Developments are underway to make it accessible for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. It will continue the events that transpired in Metal Gear Solid 5: Peace Walker and start with Tactical Espionage Operations"

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is an independent combination of two earlier projects of Kojima Productions that creates a multifaceted story, with Grand Zeroes as the first part and The Phantom Pain as the second part.

Forming part of the story in The Phantom Pain are the well-known faces featured in Peace Walker on consoles and PSP. Gamers can expect to see the faces of Paz, Chico and Miller.

Players can create weapons and materials from their home base with the base-building element of Metal Gear Solid, similar to the one featured in Peace Walker. Access to their home base is also allowed from the smartphones. A great feature of the game is the day and night cycle that works in actual time as well as how you travel between one stage to the next, where travel time affects the time of day you arrive at your destination.
