Rihanna recently shelled out over $2,000 for some one-of-a-kind fetish gear.

The 27-year-old "S&M" singer put in an order for custom latex catsuits she needed for her new music video, which she shot in LA on Monday and Tuesday, according to TMZ.

Rihanna ordered the naughty gear from The Stockroom, a popular BDSM store in Silverlake, California. A representative from the store said the singer's stylist contacted the shop over the weekend to ask for the products to be made in time for the video shoot. Her stylist specifically asked for black and dark navy catsuits created by high-end latex company Syren Couture.

Some of the unusual measurements Rihanna had to send in for the fetish gear included "nipple to nipple," "shoulder top to top nipple" and "crotch."

The singer sent out a Snapchat on Tuesday, exciting her fans who thought the message might be an exclusive preview of new music. However, the short clip ended up being a snippet of "Wait Your Turn" from her 2009 album "Rated R."

"Anti," Rihanna's upcoming album, has already produced the three singles "FourFiveSeconds," which features Paul McCartney and Kanye West, "B*tch Better Have My Money" and "American Oxygen." Rihanna unveiled the cover art for the album, which was done by artist Roy Nachum, in early October at the MAMA Gallery in downtown Los Angeles. The cover art, drawn from an old photo, depicts the singer as a child with a gold crown positioned over her eyes.

Rihanna's eighth studio album, "Anti," was rumored to be set for release on Friday, Nov. 6, but now a source has told Billboard the project is most likely due out next month. The album is the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic," which produced the singles "Diamonds," "Stay," "Pour It Up," "Loveeeeeee Song," "Right Now," "What Now" and "Jump."
