The Latin Grammys are two days away and the Latin Recording Academy has announced its sponsors.

The awards ceremony is celebrating its 16th year with such major players as Verizon, Nissan and McDonald's backing it. Other major sponsors include 7UP, Las Vegas, L'Oreal Paris and Bose wireless speakers and headphones.

Buchanan's Blended Scotch Whisky and Walmart are also sponsoring the awards ceremony.

A number of the companies have been sponsoring the awards for years. For example, 7UP will allow fans to "Live it Up" during the Person of the Year tribute by providing a bar and photo booth at the event.

Nissan is also offering a chance to win a trip to the ceremony while Verizon will once again present the Person of the Year tribute gala. Meanwhile, Walmart will sponsor the street party series.

The Latin Grammys are some of the most prestigious awards in Latin music. This year's nominees showcase an international slate of musicians. Roberto Carlos will be awarded the Person of the Year award while Leonel Garcia leads the nominees.

One of the top prizes for Song of the Year is among the most disputed categories at the event with Pedro Capo, Natalia Jimenez, Pablo Alboran and Ricky Martin among the nominees.

Other nominees are Miguel Bose, Marco Antonio Solis, Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Sanz and Julieta Venegas.

The awards ceremony will be hosted this year by Jacqueline Bracamontes and Roselyn Sanchez.

The 16th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 19. It will be televised on Univision.
