2015 may be the year of impressive production of information where the internet and all sorts of new media are available for the taking. But in Hulu's latest TV series titled "11.22.63," it captures the culture and time during the assassination of Former President John F. Kennedy.

The latest trailer of the upcoming TV series shows a glimpse from the past. The series is based from the novel of the same title by Stephen King. In the first ever trailer posted online, James Franco was seen being cautioned about opening a door which will transport him back to 1963.

"I'm gonna tell you something that's gonna seem crazy. You go through there, it's 1960. I need you to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy," a male voice in the video talking to Franco, who plays as Jake Epping, was heard saying as quoted by The Verge.

The video, which had a dark and gloomy feel, features Franco who plays a history teacher going back in time to hopefully be successful in stopping the infamous Kennedy assassination.

The series, according to SlashFilm, will kick off on Franco's character who lives in a modern-day Maine discovering a door that transports him back in time. The assassination, which happened on Nov. 22, 1963, would be the focal point of the whole story.

And since the series will start in 1958, a lot will happen before the series' ultimate goal of reliving the unfortunate assassination of former President Kennedy.

The Huffington Post reveals that it will be Franco's first TV series since "Freaks and Geeks." Furthermore, Hulu produced the eight-part series based from King's 2011 novel of the same title. The series promises to have a speculative scenario of the Kennedy assassination.

Whether Franco's character, Epping, will be fit for the task or not, the viewers will have to find out when the show premieres on President's Day next year as seen on the trailer video. Meanwhile, the Verge speculates that "11.22.63" will be the biggest project of Hulu as it continues to be a great competition for other streaming services.

"11.22.63" will premiere on Feb. 11, 2016 on Hulu with J.J. Abrams as the executive producer.
