The trailer and poster for Mexico's Oscar submission "600 Miles" has been revealed.

The movie, by Gabriel Ripstein, looks action-packed, with a number of action sequences and many thrilling set pieces.

The movie also contains a lot of English. It will be interesting to see how much is actually used in the film, considering the Academy's rules about the use of English for a Foreign Language submission.

The poster for the film features Tim Roth and Kristyan Ferrer side-by-side. In the middle of the image there is a gun dividing the two stars. The background is gray, which gives the entire picture an ominous look.

Pantelion is distributing the film. It is the second Mexican submission the company has released. Last year, Pantelion released "Cantinflas," which was a moderate success. It is not clear how many screens "600 Miles" will be released on, but it is slated to qualify for more than the foreign film award category.

The Mexican submission was a festival hit and won the coveted Best First Feature award at the Berlin Film festival. Ripstein made his directorial debut after working with Pantelion on the comedy "Pulling Strings." He also served as executive producer on the recent Venice Film Festival winner "Desde Alla," which was recently picked up by Strand Releasing.

Roth was recently seen in "Grace of Monaco" and is slated to be in the new Quentin Tarantino film "The Hateful Eight." He is also known for his work on "Funny Games," "Pulp Fiction," "The Hulk," and "Reservoir Dogs." Ferrer was recently seen in "Buen Dia Ramon."

Pantelion recently released "Un Gallo con mucho Huevos" and "Ladrones." They have also released "Instructions Not Included," "Spare Parts," and "The Vatican Tapes."

"600 Miles" is slated for release on Dec. 4, alongside "Macbeth," "Youth," "Krampus" and "Chi-Raq."
