HDTV & 4K Ultra TV Deals: Black Friday 2015

HDTVs and Smart HDTVs

The one-stop spot for getting amazing deals on Samsung HDTVs this year is Walmart. The retailer is offering some incredible discounts on Black Friday for their entire range of Samsung HDTVs, but be warned, these heavily discounted, quality HDTVs will go quickly.

At the cheapest end, if you don't mind not having full 1080p, Walmart has Samsung 32-inch 720p LED HDTVs selling for about $178, which is $241 off the original price. The 1080p version will cost you $100 more, but that's still nearly 50 percent off.

Samsung 40-inch 1080p LED HDTVs are selling at about 50 percent off, at $278. The Smart TV version at same size is selling for $318, which is more than 50 percent off.

Or you can upsize to the Samsung 43-inch 1080p Smart LED TV, which is also selling at more than 50 percent off, for $368.

Larger Samsung HDTVs are at a lower discount, but you can save more than $200 for the regular Samsung 50-inch 1080p LED HDTV, at $498. But the better deal is the Samsung 55-inch 1080p Smart HDTV for the same price.

4K Ultra HD TVs

Of course, the next big thing is 4K Ultra HD, and Best Buy is competing with Walmart with its own steep discounts on a wide range of these next-gen, big screen, 2160p heavy-hitters.

Best Buy has LG's new 49-inch 4K Ultra Smart HDTV marked down $400, at only $500. Meanwhile, it's offering LG's 55-inch variant at $700, which is $500 off the original price.

Samsung's 55-inch Smart 4K Ultra HDTV is a little steeper than LG's, at about $800, but that's still a discount of $400.

For Best Buy, the bigger you go, the bigger the discount being offered.

Samsung 60-inch Smart 4K Ultra HDTVs are discounted $600 and selling for $1,200. Even better, the LG 60-inch Smart 4K Ultra HDTV has the same discount, but the total cost is only about $900.

Not to be outmatched, Walmart has its Samsung 60-inch 4K Ultra HDTV selling for $900, after a $800 discount, but this one has a 60Hz  refresh rate, which means sports and gaming might blur more than the standard 120Hz TVs at Best Buy.

The 65-inch range is even more heavily discounted, with LG's Smart 4K Ultra HDTVs going for $1000 even, after a $700 discount.

Samsung's 65-inch Smart 4K competitor is more expensive, at $1,500, but that's marked down $800.

Special Features: 3D and Curved 4K

If you're looking for a Smart 4K Ultra HDTV with 3D, Samsung's 65-inch model is selling for a pricey $2,000 -- but again, that's a $1,300 markdown.

Walmart beats Best Buy this year for those who are looking for a super-futuristic, curved 4K HDTV at a steep discount, though.

The Samsung 55-inch Curved 4K Ultra HD (again, 60Hz) Smart TV is going for nearly 50 percent off. After the $900 discount, you'll just have to pay $1000 to put a curved 4K big screen TV in your living room.
