A couple weeks before Survivor Series, Sting was rumored to be one of the options to be the partner of The Undertaker and Kane against The Wyatt Family, but WWE went with a typical tag team match. Now, fans are starting to speculate whether "The Vigilante" will appear on next year's WrestleMania in Dallas.

During his WWE title match at Night of Champions last September, Sting suffered a legitimate neck injury that caused the match to end earlier than planned. In an interview with WWE.com, he revealed that he suffered from spinal stenosis, the same injury that ended WWE Hall of Famer Edge's career.

He added that he was not in pain and was doing everyday activities without restrictions. However, there is still no word from WWE if the 56-year-old legend is healthy enough to be cleared to wrestle again. According to a PWInsider report via Wrestle Zone, WWE has no current plans for Sting appearing at WrestleMania 32.

The report notes that it doesn't mean that he will not be making an appearance as WrestleMania is still months away and it's only November. The internal discussion within WWE as of the moment is Sting will not be involved in any feuds going forward.

Hardcore wrestling fans have been clamouring a Sting vs. The Undertaker much since WCW folded. When Sting signed with the WWE last year, fans started to think that a dream match between two legends of the business will happen at WrestleMania 32. However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter via What Culture reported back in July that Vince McMahon does not like the idea of two 50-year-olds wrestling in front of 100,000 people.

The report adds that Sting also has a very good chance of getting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year. In regards to The Undertaker, PWInsider mentions that WWE is still planning to go through the match with John Cena.

Inquisitr speculates that WWE may very well use Sting due to a number of significant absences in the WWE roster. Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Cesaro are out with injuries while The Rock is not scheduled to work a match due to a movie filming at the same time as WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar is still working part-time and plans for him at the moment is to return at the Royal Rumble and win it to appear at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE championship.
