"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco is determined to finally remove the permanent remembrance of her ex-husband Ryan Sweeting after their divorce. Cuoco had her back tattoo removed earlier this week, which apparently showed the estranged couple's wedding date.

MTV earlier reported that Cuoco was now one of the celebrities, including Angelina Jolie, who all got certain tattoos removed or covered up to erase a certain memorable moment in their lives, just like their wedding dates.

Cuoco reportedly had hers with the roman numerals of "12-31-13" covered up at the Studio City Tattoo in Los Angeles replacing the date of her wedding with her estranged husband with a month. The TV star even shared the photo on her social media of when she was under the hands of tattoo artist Nero, Today reports.

"Thank you @nero_sct @studiocitytattoo for helping me right my wrongs," Cuoco wrote as a caption on Instagram alongside the photo of herself with Nero while her tattoo was being removed. "Note to self- do not mark your body with any future wedding dates," she added, including the hashtags #under30mistakes and #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids to the post.

Cuoco also shared another photo on Instagram showing the finished product of her new moth tattoo explaining in her caption the meaning behind the design she chose. "The deep, meaningful, larger than life meaning behind this beautiful piece of ink, is..... It covered the last one," she wrote.

Cuoco and Sweeting announced their divorce back in September releasing a joint statement. "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage," the couple said in a statement at the time as quoted by Glamour Magazine. "They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

Days after the news broke, Cuoco, who cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, was then caught up in a rumor saying that her "Big Bang Theory" co-star John Galecki was the reason behind the two splitting up.

But Cuoco was quick to deny the rumors posting a message on her Instagram alongside a photo of her and Galecki writing, "So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here. Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"

Cuoco and Sweeting were married for 21 months before separating. They have a prenuptial agreement according to Glamour Magazine.
