Holly Holm has quickly become the face of MMA fighting in the wake of her stunning take-down of Ronda Rousey, but the whole fame and celebrity game still comes as a foreign language to her.

HollywoodLife reports the new UFC 193 champ was recently attending a boxing match hosted by heavyweight couple Jay Z and Beyoncé and completely blanked out when the time came for her to meet the "Say My Name" singer.

"I go in and it's Jay Z and it's just him and Beyoncé back there," said Holm. "I mean ... that's surreal. I meet Jay Z and he says, 'This is my wife,' and I was like, 'Oh, hey what's your name?' Because that's what I do when I meet someone's wife, and as I'm shaking her hand, I'm thinking, 'Why did I just say that? Why did I say that ... it's Beyoncé.'"

In time, Holm's equilibrium came back to her and she found herself interrupting Jay Z mid-sentence for the chance to apologize to his wife.

"I literally had to interrupt him and be like, 'I'm really sorry. Beyoncé ... I'm sorry I just did that,'" the 34-year-old revealed. "She was like... 'Oh, no no, it's fine.'"

Holm's name shot into the stratosphere after her convincing win over the previously undefeated Rousey. A rematch between the two has already been planned and their rivalry seems destined for legendary status. The first fight was watched by millions over pay-for-view cable.

According to a HollywoodLife source, the rematch will take place in Las Vegas sometime in early July and UFC president Dana White is already hinting he plans to pull out all the stops to make the event a memorable one.

Rousey suffered a busted lip and battered face and had to be temporarily hospitalized following her second-round loss in Australia. She did not speak to reporters, but has already that she will back.
