Charlie Sheen grabbed headlines last week after he announced in an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer on the "Today" show that he is HIV-positive.

The actor admitted he was diagnosed four years ago. Now news sites are looking for ways to find proof about his disease through his old photos. Sure enough, a 2012 photo of Sheen surfaced that showed what could have been an adverse effect of the HIV virus on his skin.

Radar Online published a photo of the actor taken on the Atlanta set of "Scary Movie 5." The site pointed to the lesions seen on Sheen's right cheek, which could reportedly already have been an early sign of the progression of his HIV disease.

He was reportedly trying to cover up the lesions on his skin with think make-up. However, it's believed they only got worse after he filmed "Scary Movie 5" and Sheen disappeared from the Hollywood spotlight for several months. He only reappeared in 2013 for an interview on the "Late Show with David Letterman."

Back in 2012, Mail Online also noted how the "Two and Half Men" star looked aged and his face a little worn. Sheen stepped out to watch the Kings Vs Devils playoff game at the Staples center in Los Angeles where he was photographed puffing on a cigarette. Although he was wearing a hat to shield his skin from the sun, his skin reportedly still looked like it has aged a lot since 2010. However, at that time his skin condition was still attributed to his heavy lifestyle of smoking, partying and drinking.

Sheen admitted in an exclusive interview with Lauer that he tested positive for HIV four years ago. His ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller were already informed about his condition. Fortunately, all his children from his ex-wives did not contract the virus.

However, the actor is not spared from complaints by the number of women whom he has allegedly slept with and not informed about his HIV. A report from TMZ claimed 10 women in total are already planning to sue the actor. These women reportedly had both unprotected and protected sex with Sheen without knowledge that he is HIV-positive.

According to TMZ, the women are suing Sheen for fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress and sexual battery. However, it's expected that the number of women who will file a lawsuit against the actor will still rise. A source close to the "Anger Management" star said Sheen has slept with at least 200 women in the past two years.
