Brock Lesnar last appeared on WWE television when he defeated The Undertaker at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view last October. According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter via 24 Wrestling, Lesnar is scheduled to return at 2015 WWE Slammy Awards edition of Monday Night RAW on Dec. 21.

The show will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Lesnar made his name as an amateur wrestler for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. This episode of RAW is where the 2016 Royal Rumble will be first built up, an event that the former WWE World champion is scheduled to part of.

According to Inquisitr, Lesnar was announced to be appearing for a WWE Live Event on Dec. 19 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. However, it is a non-televised event, but WWE can always turn it into a live WWE Network special like "The Beast in the East" in Tokyo, Japan last July 4 or "WWE Live from MSG" on Oct. 3 where Lesnar also wrestled.

It was also announced two weeks ago by the Toyota Center Twitter account that Lesnar would be making an appearance on January 8, 2016, at a live event in Houston, Texas. The next live RAW that "The Beast" is advertised to wrestle is on the Jan. 11 episode in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WWE has renegotiated the 38-year-old's current contract to do more appearances for more money, per an earlier report by The Wrestling Observer via Wrestle Zone. The loss of main event talents due to injuries and requested hiatus has left WWE with no choice but to ask one of their top part-time superstars and main draws to work more dates for an increased pay.

The former UFC champion signed a two-year, $10 million contract in his second stint with the WWE in 2012, per What Culture. The report noted that the new contract he signed last April was not as big as his last contract, but it pays around $3 million per year.

Inquisitr reports that Lesnar is expected to be part of the Royal Rumble event on Jan. 24, but his appearance is still speculated to be either a singles match or participating in the Royal Rumble match for a chance to main event WrestleMania 32.

In a report by Forbes, it was revealed that Lesnar's appearances affected the number of WWE pay-per-view buys in the past year. The top five events of 2015 in order are WrestleMania 31, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Hell in a Cell and Battleground, all of which have a Lesnar match.
