Diego Costa's Chelsea exit appears imminent after throwing his training bib at the direction of manager Jose Mourinho in last Sunday's draw with Tottenham Hotspur. Costa was not happy for being benched and it's not the first time that the striker has clashed with Mourinho, per The Independent.

Costa's issue with his manager started in Chelsea's 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv Tuesday last week. According to former Blues goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, the Brazil-born Spanish international's days at Stamford Bridge is over.

"It didn't look good. Not going out for the warm-up, I can understand that completely, but throwing the bib at the manager during the game points to one way. They probably won't do it immediately, but I really do think it is the beginning of the end, which is really unfortunate because he has been a smash hit since he has been at Chelsea," Bosnich told Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast via talkSport.

Costa has been in very poor form, scoring only three goals out of 17 shots in 11 appearances in the Premier League this season, per Sky Sports. He is not the only player struggling because the team itself are 14th in the league table despite being the defending champions.

In the recent rumor reported by FOX Sports, Chelsea is already eyeing Shakhtar Donetsk forward, Alex Teixeira. The Brazilian have already scored 23 goals in 23 games for his Ukrainian club this campaign. Teixeira revealed in an interview that Chelsea along with PSG and Juventus have already started negotiations for his services.

"They are three big clubs. Wherever I go, I'll be happy. I read an interview Mourinho gave where he said he was keeping an eye on my football and had sent scouts to watch me. I believe it is very difficult for it to happen in January because it is in the middle of the Championship," the 25-year old told Lance! via FOX Sports.

According to Calcio Mercato via The Metro, the Blues are also targeting Genoa's 18-year-old star Rolando Mandragora. The youngster is currently on loan at Pescara, but AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Roma and West Ham United are also interested in signing the wonder kid.

FOX Sports adds that Atletico Madrid's Antoine Greizmann, Boca Juniors' Jonathan Calleri and West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino are all Chelsea transfer targets that are attacking options this winter. As for their defense, Everton's John Stones is still the main priority by Chelsea despite four failed bids last summer.
