Piers Morgan is known for many things. Some might associate him with "America's Got Talent" while others might recognize him more as a former nightly talk show host on CNN. Now, the 50-year old TV personality revealed that he is first and foremost a journalist in a new ad for the BlackBerry Passport.

The 60-second YouTube video embedded below shows Morgan talking about the Passport's display as being big enough for him to "craft a column anywhere in the world." The handset's screen size maxes out at four and a half inches while carrying a 1440 x 1440 resolution display.

Morgan also touched on his ability to get instant responses from readers of something he's just posted out. He calls it "powerful writing." Lastly, he considers his Passport as his office, specifically citing the BlackBerry Hub functionality.

It's been over a year since the Passport became available to the public. However, BlackBerry is still promoting its 2014 flagship even though the Android-based BlackBerry Priv has already been released last month. But as the short clip reminds us, there will always be a market for smartphones with wide screens and a comprehensive physical QWERTY keyboard. Writers in the field and businessmen on the go might find the Passport very useful. There are quite a number of them in the world today eager to have such a device in their hands.

TechRadar reviewer Jeff Parsons said that the Passport is best used as an auxiliary device since it is work-focused and productivity-oriented.

"BlackBerry has succeeded in doing something different and producing a new device that sums up everything it is as a brand," he explained. "That is a brilliant thing, and to those that feel this is aimed at them (medical professionals, entrepreneurs, the email-obsessed) then it should be up there as one of the first phones you consider."

The Passport's pros include its stellar battery life and of course, the BlackBerry Hub. The feature conveniently filters the daily onslaught of social media updates, emails and text messages. Would-be buyers won't be too happy to know that the Passport isn't exactly a one-handed device. Also, playing games and streaming videos can be quite frustrating as most content is made for 1:1 aspect ratio.

As for BlackBerry latest offering, the Priv comes with a 5.4-inch AMOLED 1440 x 2560 display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage expandable via micro-SD up to 200GB. The Android 5.1.1 smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 808 chipset towing a six-core CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. As listed on GSM Arena, the device is sandwiched between an 18-megapixel rear camera and a two-megapixel selfie shooter.
