Dancing With the Stars literally puts celebrities up close and personal with professional dancers. Have those sultry moves and sexy outfits helped bud a romance between a certain team?

Yesterday, partners Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy seemed to be getting extra close. They held an intimate position during their dance routine that put them just inches away from kissing. Plus, according to Parade, Chmerkovskiy has a history of having suspected romances with his partners.

"So, I love you and I would love to marry you, but I need to know if you and Charlie [White] are dating first," Chmerkovskiy, who used to date Kate Upton, asked Davis during a rehearsal video.

Once Davis responded with no, Chmerkovskiy happily replied, "good."

Chmerkovskiy isn't the only one who thinks extra positively about their partner.

"He's incredible!" Davis told Parade."I didn't really know what to expect coming in, but I'm so impressed with him both as a dancer and as a person. I feel really lucky to have been partnered with him."

The two also seem extra upset for the upcoming Switch Up, which will change everyone's partner for one week.

"I'm not pleased with it," Davis told E! News.

"We're very upset, but listen, it is what it is," Chmerkovskiy added. "We can't control it. I'll show up to work tomorrow, I will try to be my best. I might cry a little bit when I see who it is because whoever it is, it's not Meryl, so I'll be sad. Then I will gather myself and then somehow pull it out."

Despite getting a new partner, Chmerkovskiy says he will remain on Davis's side.

"I feel everything is easier with Meryl," Chmerkovskiy told Erin Andrews during Monday's episode. "I'm going with her whether she's coming with another partner [next week] or not."

Only time will tell if these two are really dancing into a relationship.
