"Birdman" is filled with paradox, but its enormous quality is one characteristic that is not contradictory. This is arguably Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's finest hour since "Amores Perros" and the film is not only endowed with tremendous technique and performances, but unimaginable levels of depth that will keep viewers returning to it time and again.
